Food Sightseeing is a company that organises culinary city tours, and has been operating since 2008. We arrange tours of the city that appeal to all the senses. During our tours, you sample Finnish flavours, hear stories, see the sights, and even have time to do some shopping.

Our choices include Finnish food tasting, historical gastro-tours, and an introduction to the Association of Useful Plants. We also organise food tours and events according to client wishes.

Our clients include domestic and foreign tourists, corporate clients and foreign food journalists.

Finnish food culture is a blend of East and West, with contributions from both Russia and Sweden. Finnish cuisine has distinctive characteristics that adapt locally grown ingredients that are seasonably available, where freshwater fish are prominent, which is no surprise in a land of thousands of lakes.

We want to raise awareness of food, food habits and history.
